Hi everyone,
Remember your first day of middle school when the schedule seemed confusing and you realized just how many stairs stand between the first and fourth floors!? If a Student Ambassador helped you survive those early days, now is your chance to pay it forward.
We are looking for the next group of Student Ambassadors to help with 5th Grade Fly Up and New Family Orientation. You’ll be the friendly faces that help new students transition into middle school life with a little less stress.
If you want to help out, please fill out the application below by next Thursday, April 9th.
Student Ambassador Questionnaire
Filling this out doesn’t automatically mean you’re in. We’re looking for thoughtful, leader-quality responses, so don't just rush through it!
Let me know if you have any questions.
Have a great day,
Ms. Martinez
The Additional space for lunch is going to be the wood floor gym from March 29 - June 4.
Some students are still unclear about our safety protocols...
During Sirens:
No one can be outside.
Transition Time
If you have a class in another building (PE, Drama, Band), wait in the Atrium (near the elevator between ES and HS) for Mr. Thomas or Ms. Mac to escort you over to the other building.
If you are returning from those spaces - wait undercover for Mr. Thomas or Ms. Mac.
At lunch
If you hear a siren, please move to one of our MS inside spaces immediately.
FINDING YOUR GRADES
Some students had mentioned they were having trouble seeing their grades in PowerSchool. We have checked the system and believe everything is set up correctly there. To help students, the PowerSchool Team created THIS SLIDESHOW.
ALL Middle School students can use the cafe.
Things to remember:
The cafe is ONLY AVAILABLE TO MS DURING LUNCH
MS students should NOT be there during breaks
This is a quiet area - people 5m away should NOT understand your conversation
Drop in a "Just Because" for someone who has made a difference for you :)

Spring MAP testing is like a "growth spurt" check for your brain. Now that we’re in the home stretch of the school year, this is your chance to look back at the "Fall version" of yourself and see just how much more you know now. It’s a literal measurement of your hard work and progress!
Beyond just seeing your own growth, these results are incredibly helpful for the future. They give your teachers for next year a clear "snapshot" of your skills, showing them exactly what you’ve mastered and what you’re ready to learn next. It helps them prepare to meet you right where you are on day one of the new grade.
The most important part: At the end of the day, this isn't just about score - it's about your personal integrity. There is a unique kind of confidence that comes from knowing you didn't just "click through," but that you showed up and gave it your absolute all. You should walk out of that testing room feeling proud of your effort, knowing you left it all on the screen.
