📌 You can find tomorrow's schedule below under General Announcements.
Thursday is our last day of school for the semester 🎉.
We will have a special schedule celebrating our year so far and building house points. You can see our schedule here -->
Everyone is encouraged to wear their house colours.
School will end at 11:30am and buses will depart at 11:45am. Students must leave campus at this time.
It has come to our attention that MS students are making poor choices at the Blue Fig Cafe
Late to class because they are there during breaks
Ordering coffee - a terrible drink for adolescence (impacts nervous system and brain, excessive high sugar content, is addictive)
As a result: THE CAFE IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE TO MS STUDENTS DURING BREAKS OTHER THAN LUNCH
Lost & Found Alert!
Middle Schoolers, please take a moment to check the Lost & Found bins next to the elevator. They’re overflowing with water bottles, jackets, hoodies, and T-shirts that are waiting to be claimed.
Anything left behind after the winter break will be cleared out, so make sure to grab your belongings before they’re gone!
We have received several complaints from teachers and students in the Learning Commons (LC) that Grade 6 are being so noisy in the Cafe (2nd floor) it is interfering with learning.
As a result, Grade 6 students will not be allowed to spent their lunch break in the cafe area.
If you must get food from the cafe (most of it is also offered in the cafeteria) you must do so QUIETLY and then leave.
“Middle School, are you ready to shine? 🌟🌟🌟
This is YOUR moment! Whether you sing, dance, act, or have a unique talent to share—step up, stand out, and show us what courage really looks like! Check out the upcoming performance opportunities and email Mr. K to join the excitement!
Drop in a "Just Because" for someone who has made a difference for you :)
Visit the Wellness Survey page.
As we enter this final stretch before the break, energy levels are low, and everyone (students and teachers alike) is feeling the pressure! This is the perfect time to practice tolerance and assume positive intentions in all your interactions.
If a friend seems grumpy, a teacher seems short, or someone makes a mistake, pause before reacting. Remember that they might be tired, stressed, or dealing with something you don't know about. Choosing to believe that others are trying their best, rather than assuming they are intentionally rude or hurtful, makes a huge difference.
Let's finish the semester strong by extending patience, kindness, and understanding to everyone in our community!
Often the end of semester can become overwhelming as many classes are finishing units at the same time. The calendars below are here to help students (and teachers) plan ahead for upcoming assessment.
Remember, if you are feeling stressed you can talk to any adult in Middle School - we are all here to help you!
